I ripped two Hobby Boxes. The first one had a relic, George Springer, which was strange that is on a base card. The relics I got on Series 1 were all on the 1991 inserts. In the second box, I got an auto of Brady House, but it was on a black border /10, so that was especially nice. All told, I got three more numbered cards, four rainbows, seven Glove Work and three Crooked Numbers, all within the odds range.

As for QC, in my first box, about two to three cards in every pack had bent corners. About three cards into every cards pack, they were bent. A total of 56 cards from the Hobby Box were damaged. Badly. Thankfully, they were all base cards. I have filed a claim with Topps (with photos) and it has been approved, but I'm not sure what I will get from it.

Keep us posted. Would love to hear how Topps handles damaged base cards.

Your George Springer relic sounds like it’s a “Real One” Relic. Those are generally tougher pulls. Nice!
